Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, creative professional and hobbyist photographer – that's me. My family lives in the Jackson city limits, and we're regulars around town.
My portrait projects focus on creativity in our community. I also enjoy photographing lots of other subjects, like abandoned buildings and small towns around Michigan.

About Musicians In Jackson
I like to focus on portraits of our community – the pros, the weirdos, the makers and creators. In 2015, I made a project called Artists In Jackson, focusing on local artists and creatives. It was my love letter to Jackson’s cultural community.
Thinking about a follow up to that project, music became the next logical subject. My wife and I are both musicians (she’s way better!), so profiling Jackson’s music scene seemed like a natural fit. We have a ton of great musicians here in town.
Musicians In Jackson features local musicians doing interesting things. Each of them represent a unique facet of our creative community, from musical theatre to rap to folk, and many styles and media channels in between.
